My name’s Lucy and I’m a freelance Animation Director repped by the legendary Aardman Animations.

With over 15 years industry experience in animation, I’ve been lucky enough to work with some great studios and clients, in both London and Sydney, before settling in Bristol, UK, with my wife and two young kiddies; working as an illustrator, 2d animator and director. Recently, I've been part of the techinical instructing team on the Animation course at the University of the West of England and have loved the youthful energy from the students whilst imparting the knowledge I've gained over the years.

The projects I work on often see me get involved in every aspect of the animation filmmaking process. From the concept, to the design, to the animation and compositing. Problem solving along the way is all part of my enjoyment in the story telling jigsaw puzzle. Outside of work, my two tiny humans take up most of my time but when I can relax, I like nothing better than a good book, (audio or tangible), a space in time to sit down and draw, or some fresh outside air, doing something active (that usually involves a ball of some kind or a bike).
