Tea Total was the short animated film I made at Kingston-Upon-Thames University for my final graduation piece of work. It won the BBC 3 New Talent New Animator Award in 2005 which enabled me to work with the BBC Bristol Animation Department and make two more films, Come Rain or Shine and One of the Family. It has screened at many festivals in the UK and internationally.

Tea Total is a British inspired celebration of the quintessential ritual of tea drinking. I didn't drink tea at the time and was fascinated by it's stature within society. The films are put together in a documentary style. I edited interviews I made with poeple about tea and cut them together with a soundtrack to make a fun, fast paced audio track.

Along with the film, I made a set of illustrations on this theme of tea.
